myworkspace is launching our very own footy tipping competition for season 2008 and we would love you to be a part of it.  As we have clients and supporters right throughout Australia, we have decided to focus on the AFL competition to appeal to the widest possible audience.

The main aim of the competition is to just have some fun ... no entry fees and no prizes (well, at least not any prizes as yet!).  Another aim is to help you promote your business within the myworkspace community.  Oh ... and I guess also we will find out who has the best AFL selection smarts amongst us all (and the worst!).

To join in, simply register for free by clicking on the following link ... http://www.footytips.com.au/jc.cfm?c=102100.  This will take you straight to the myworkspace footy tips registration page.  If you are creating a footytips.com.au account for the first time, one of the questions you will be asked is if you prefer to display your 'alias' on the competition ladder instead of your name ... tick this box and enter an alias that identifies your name and business (only if you wish - though this helps to promote your business).  For example, my alias is Darren Jones - myworkspace.  If you are already registered for footytips.com.au, simply update your alias via the 'My Account' tab once you have logged in.

It's really that simple to get started.  Each week, you simply log back into footytips.com.au, select the myworkspace competition and place your tips.  You will receive automatic reminders to enter your tips each week, and will be notified at the conclusion of each round as to how you and everyone else faired ... and where everyone is ranked on the myworkspace ladder.  But be careful ... the system detects if you tip against the Brisbane Lions and automatically disqualifies you for that round .
