RELEASE DATE 20th OCTOBER 2007

Welcome to       the latest release of myworkspace.  You will find a listing below of       new features and enhancements.

Core
      
            
  • [New] Support - In the Support area (in the         footer area of the screen) you will now see an ever changing set of         support tips. The tips displayed are in context to the applications you         have subscribed to.
                                                       
  • [New] Data Export - Export data by relationship         manager. We have created the functionality (currently only accessible         by myworkspace support team) to export data from one system into         another based on relationship manager.
                                                                      
  • [New] Person - Extra fields of information are         now available on the Person form. We have created the ability for a         business to create their own specific data fields that can be added to         the person contact details in a new tab. This is done through the survey         tool and for this first release has to be set up by the myworkspace         support team. The fields can be text fields or drop down fields (the         contents of which can be determined by the business). In this first         release there are no reporting tools, but data can start to be         recorded.
                                                                                                                                                                        
  • [New] Diary - You can now define the colours         that are used in the diary for actions based on action type. You can         determine what the background colour is that appears in the calendar         view as well as what the text colour is. This is for the entire         business. If you make a change for a particular action type and decide         you want it to go back you can revert back to the system defaults. And         please note that once you set the text colour for a particular action         type you will no longer see any difference between a completed /         cancelled or not started action.
                                                                                                                                                                                         
  • [Update] Diary - The action         types form also now shows which action types show in the diary or not.         
                                                                     
  • [Update] Data Usage         Attachments - We have given businesses the ability to delete attachments         straight from the Data Usage screen. This is accessible from My Profile,         My System Profile, System Details, Data usage then click on Attachments         link. You can click in the check box next to the attachments you want         permanently deleted and then click on the Delete button.
                                                                                                                  
  • [Update] Message Templates         - When you send an email using a message template (My Profile, Add /         Manage Message Templates) the email signature of the logged on person is         now added to the email.
                                                                 
  • [New] Message Templates - You can also now         attach files to a message template so that when you use this template,         the attachment(s) also get sent.
                                                       
  • [New] Website - Request (question 2 of website         setup) now enables you to select a message template as well. The person         coming to your website and requesting more information will get some         text displayed on the website (set up in Question 2) and will then also         be sent the message template email with any attachments.
                                                                                                       
  • [Update] Email - When         selecting recipients for an email, the list of your favourite people are         now in alpha order.
                                          
  • [New] Newsletter - You can now send an         attachment easily with an e-newsletter.
                                  
  • [Update] Products - The         Cost of Goods sold report in the Products area has been updated to make         the Category field mandatory prior to running the report.
                                                         
  • [Update] Products - The         Bulk Price Update screen has also been updated to make the category         field mandatory prior to displaying the product prices.
                                                     
  • [New] Projects - There is now the ability to         view tasks relating to the same project in a project timeline view         (GANTT Chart). There is a new link at the top of a project record which         displays a line per project task with the start date and scheduled end         date creating the length of the timeline.
                                                                                                     
  • [New] Website - A business can now have         multiple websites linked to their business. This has been implemented to         assist businesses to update their website, they can have a LIVE version         of their website and a second version which they are updating /         modifying. It could also be used however to have totally different         websites for different parts of the business. Each website can have a         different domain name pointing to it.
                                                                                                                                       
  • [New] Support - there is now the ability to         send a customer issue to another advisor from within an issue in your         system (ie a customer can log an issue with you and you can then log it         with another advisor). This is a new option in the drop down on the         Customer Issue.
                                                                                            
  • [New] Support - It is also possible to set a         particular advisor to your business as only viewable by System         Administrators. This ensures that only system administrators within your         business are able to forward an issue to certain other advisors.         
                                                                            
  • [New] Documents - There is now an advanced         Document search. This is accessible via the Documents Home page.         
                                        
  • [Update] General - The way         grids are handled in the system has changed over the past month. When         you click on Next or Show All it now refreshes just the grid component         on the screen rather than going to a new screen (ensuring the report         headings remain).
                                                                                
  • [Update] Opportunities - On         the Opportunity form the 'Start Date' field has been changed to be         called the 'Close Date' ie the expected close date of the sale.         
                                                         
  • [Update] Person Search -         You can now select options 'is empty' or 'is not empty' in the person         advanced searches for the email field. This can quickly and easily help         you find contacts in your system that do or don't have email addresses.         
                                                                                  
  • [Update] Documents - In the         Document Browser, when you click on a document now it shows the actual         document in 'view' mode. You need to click on the EDIT button (over on         the right) to go into 'edit' mode.
                                                                     
  • [Update] Messenger         - conversations now have the ability to set up automatic email and         / or sms alerts when somebody contributes to the conversation. And         you can specify a conversation to be a favourite for quick posting of         comments via the box at the bottom right of your screen! 
                                                               
  • [New] Website - In website content         management/development area, it is now possible to have two         different type of links to the Request for Information page. One is         'Advanced', which asks for their mailing address and where they heard         about you and whether they want to join up to receive your newsletter.         The other is 'Suggestion' and allows people to enter in some suggestions         via your website.
                                                                                                                      
  • [New] Documents - Displaying documents on your         website - you can now create a specific URL for a document (on the         sharing tab in the document) so that somebody could go straight to that         document within your website. A very basic example is http://mywebsite.com.au/specialoffer                                                                                               
Accounting/Financials       
            
  • [Update] When linking an         invoice to a receipt, or an expense to a payment, the lookup form now         shows whether the invoice or expense has been part paid. The lookup form         also allows you to filter by area (for those businesses that segment         their business by area.
                                          
  • [Update] When an invoice is         created from an order the line item now has the description in the         following format:
    [Qty] [Stock Unit eg kg, unit, box from product         file] x [Product Description] @ [Unit Cost] per [Stock Unit]
                                                       
  • [New] There is a new profile item in Financial         Profile, in the Other tab that allows a business to specify whether         their quick financial searches (from main header or on the financial         home page) also looks at the person name, not just the reference number         and business name. This defaults to 'No' and should only be changed for         businesses that deal predominantly with individuals.
                                                                                                                        
  • [Update] When copying an         action, the billable status field is also being copied across to the new         action.
                                      
  • [Update] Pay Assistant         - on the pay period payments grid it now shows the number of pay         periods this person is being paid for.  This enables tax withheld         to take into account advance payments of annual leave, back pay,         etc.
                                              
  • [Update] We have updated         the employee advanced search to include aditional fields.
                                  
  • [Update] You can now         produce a statement from the Person Summary 'Debtor' tab and includes         invoices that are only made out to a person not just a business &/or         Person.
                                                           
  • [New] You can now produce an electronic file         that you can upload to your bank to pay your payroll. There are a few         settings required to make this work correctly so please contact your         myworkspace support for further details.
            
  • [Update] The P&L and Balance Sheet         now display any non postable financial accounts (used in the chart         of accounts as headings).
Financial Services       
            
  • [Update] There are now even         more restrictions in place when you delete a person's contact records -         it now checks whether this person is associated to a financial services         record (ie policy, investment or loan) in the capacity of the main         customer, an interested party, an advisor or         referrer.  
Coming Very Soon       
            
  • An upgrade to the third         party Document Editor tool to be compatible with Windows Vista.         
            
  • myworkspace::express ... access the core         features of myworkspace via your web-enabled PDA or mobile         phone!
